Stable, ultrathin DNA micropatterns were fabricated from photosensitive polymer diazoresin (DR) through a self-assembly technique. The micropatterns were achieved on LBL ultrathin film after UV exposure through a photomask. The patterns were characterized systematically with scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and fluorescence microscopy. All of the results indicate that the combined LBL self-assembly and photolithography technique is a promising method for constructing stable, well-defined micropatterns with a nanoscale thickness.

An effective long-term nitrogen dioxide (NO) monitoring at trace concentration is critical for protecting the ecological environment and public health. Tellurium (Te), as a recently discovered 2D elemental material, is promising for NO detection because of its suitable band structure for gas adsorption and charge mobility. However, the high activity of Te leads to poor stability in ambient and harsh conditions, limiting its application as a gas-sensitive material.

Photodetectors based on lead halide perovskites often show excellent performance but poor stability. Herein, we demonstrate a photodetector based on MAPbBr single crystals passivated with an ultrathin layer of PbSO, which shows superior detectivity and on/off ratios compared to the control device due to the combined effect of lower surface traps, reduced recombination and low dark current. In addition, the device retained ∼56% of its initial * with an impressive on/off ratio of ∼801 after one year compared to ∼22% of * and an on/off ratio of ∼6 of the control device.

Recently, implantable devices for treating peripheral nerve disorders have demonstrated significant potential as neuroprosthetics for diagnostics and electrical stimulation. However, the mechanical mismatch between these devices and nerves frequently results in tissue damage and performance degradation. Although advances are made in stretchable electrodes, challenges, including complex patterning techniques and unstable performance, persist.

Objectives: This report illustrates the digital interdisciplinary management of a case presenting with diastemata, a retained primary tooth, microdontia, and hypodontia. Esthetic crown lengthening and ultrathin veneers optimized the natural dentition and achieved a stable, minimally-invasive, and esthetically-pleasing outcome.
Clinical Considerations: Reduction guides were digitally-designed and 3D-printed for guided crown lengthening and dental veneer preparation.
