The surgical risk is higher for obese patients undergoing laparoscopic left hemicolectomy. To enhance the surgical safety and efficacy for obese patients, we have innovatively integrated the advantages of various surgical approaches to modify a pancreas-guided C-shaped surgical procedure. The safety and quality were assessed through a retrospective analysis.

Background: Clavicle fractures associated with ipsilateral coracoid process fractures are very rare, with limited literature reporting only a few cases. This study reports on 27 patients with ipsilateral concomitant fractures of the clavicle and coracoid process who were followed for more than 12 months.
Material And Methods: This retrospective study reviewed the charts of skeletally mature patients with traumatic ipsilateral clavicle and coracoid process fractures treated at the authors' institution.

However, it is not clear whether this is driven by the linguistic task of word processing, or also occurs when processing properties such as the style and regularity of text. We had 23 subjects perform a tachistoscopic study while they viewed five-letter words in either computer font or handwriting.
