Vestibular-ocular relations were studied in 30 patients with central vestibular affections varying in origin. Use was made of sinusoidal rotation with eyes closed and glance fixation tests. Symptoms of vestibular-ocular dysregulation typical for stem-cerebellar abnormalities were identified.

Objective: This study investigates the relationship between Meniere's disease (MD) duration and both hearing thresholds and vestibular dysfunction.
Design: Retrospective cohort study. First, the relationships between MD duration and pure-tone audiometry thresholds for each frequency, the canal paresis (CP) ratio, and the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) gain were analysed.

Background And Purpose: Vestibular migraine (VM) is a common clinical disorder with a genetic predisposition characterized by recurrent episodes of dizziness/vertigo. Patients often complain of the presence of cognitive dysfunction manifestations such as memory loss, which causes great distress in daily life. In this study, we will explore the characteristics and possible risk factors of VM-related cognitive dysfunction by observing the cognitive function and vestibular function status of VM patients, laying the foundation for further exploration of the mechanisms of VM-related cognitive dysfunction.

Objective: The objective of the study is to analyze and explore the characteristics of the video head impulse test (vHIT) for light cupula in the idiopathic horizontal semicircular canal and compare them with those of horizontal semicircular canal cupulolithiasis (HC-cu) in order to investigate the potential mechanism involved.
Methods: Data from 51 cases of idiopathic light cupula and 42 cases of horizontal semicircular canal cupulolithiasis were retrospectively analyzed. The positional nystagmus features, vHIT anomaly rate, gain value, saccades, and other indicators were compared.

Objectives: Catch-up saccades help to compensate for loss of gaze stabilization during rapid head rotation in case of vestibular deficit. While overt saccades observed after head rotation are obviously visually guided, some of these catch-up saccades occur with shorter latency while the head is still moving, anticipating the needed final eye position. These covert saccades seem to be generated based on the integration of multisensory inputs.

Exploring the performance characteristics of spontaneous nystagmus(SN) in video-head impulse test(vHIT) and its possible effects on saccade. Vestibular function tests such as vHIT and SN were conducted in 48 patients with acute unilateral vestibulopathy(AUVP). The saccade characteristics of vHIT in patients without SN and those with SN were analyzed, as well as the expression characteristics of SN in vHIT.
