Aim: To identify predictors and construct a model for predicting left ventricular (LV) ejection fraction (EF) in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).
Material And Methods: This was a prospective registry study of patients with STEMI admitted within the first 24 hours of the disease onset. Patients were evaluated and treated according to the current clinical guidelines.

In order to study regional faunas, one or two methods of studying Coleoptera are often used. However, a comparison of several ways of studying shows that it is more expedient to use more than one of them. Six different methods of catching Coleoptera used in studies of the biodiversity of regional faunas were compared.

The article presents an analysis of 2 clinical cases of granulomatosis with polyangiitis from the practice of an otorhinolaryngologist. In the first case, the pathology manifested with lesions of the middle ear and nose. In the second case, in addition to manifestations from the nose and the ear, there was a lesion of the larynx.

The study aimed to analyze the literature data on postmortem changes in the brain and their use to determine the time since death. The earliest manifestations of brain cell autolysis are detected by electron microscopy (15-20 minutes after death). The longer the postmortem period, the more morphofunctional changes in the brain are revealed by histological, histochemical, and immunohistochemical studies.
