Data showing a rhythm to the naked eye prominently, barely or not at all were described as kinds A, B and C, respectively. Here, we document good agreement between estimates of maxima and minima with eyeballing and with the addition of point and interval estimates of parameters in kind A data. We also construct a chart that provides estimates of uncertainties that can be obtained objectively while they are more difficult to quantify subjectively; again there is agreement. Interval as point estimates of rhythm characteristics and parameter comparisons are useful in charting all kinds of data and become indispensable as we proceed from kind A to kind C data. Illustrations included herein from molecular biology apply equally to all aspects of transdisciplinary science.

Background: Self-rated health (SRH) is a single-item subjective indicator that asks individuals to assess their overall health and acts as a good indicator to reveal general health status. This study aimed to determine the SRH status and determining factors.
Methods: This was a population-based cross sectional study conducted in Ilam city (West of Iran) in 2023.

Background: Due to the low contrast between the vascular lumen and vessel wall, conventional computed tomography (CT) is not an effective method for visualizing the vessel wall. The purpose of this study was to assess the feasibility of vessel wall visualization using contrast-enhanced dual-energy CT (DECT)-derived water-calcium material decomposition (WMD) and subtraction-based dark-blood imaging (DBI). An additional objective of this study was to determine the association of descending aorta wall thickness (WT) and wall area (WA) with cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors and to ascertain the potential of DECT-derived WT and WA as image markers for identifying individuals at high risk for future CVD.

Objectives: This paper describes the design and evaluation of a workshop created to develop safer disaster response strategies for fishing communities, using the 2019 Northeast Brazil Oil Spill as a starting point for community-engaged education.
Methods: The 3-day pilot workshop included presentations, structured discussions, and interactive activities with small-scale fishers (SSFs), university researchers, and representatives of local government agencies. The workshop was evaluated through a mixed-method approach that considered qualitative data from discussion groups, collectively built products, and content retention.

Meso/microporous nano silica modified with macromolecular polymers produces attractive hybrids that repel water and have a hydrophobic surface, making them highly effective for targeting and eliminating organic contaminants in aquatic environments. In this study, nano silica was functionalized with silicone oil, an oligomeric siloxane derivative, to produce a hydrophobic silica nano hybrid characterized by a non-wetting water contact angle of 139°. This hydrophobic hybrid nano silica showed a sustainable floating nature on water even in turbulent streams.

Introduction: Situational judgment tests (SJT) are commonly used in admissions to measure skills associated with professionalism. Although open-response SJTs have shown strong psychometric properties, assessors' personal beliefs, experiences, and cultural backgrounds may influence how they perceive, organize and evaluate information within test takers' diverse responses. Additionally, SJT research typically focuses on reliability and predictive validity, whereas the construct validity of open response SJTs remains underexplored.
