We report a case of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in a young woman who presented a serious encephalopathy with respiratory distress and coma, after arbitrary interruption of oral corticosteroid therapy when her first pregnancy ended in abortion. The patient showed rapid improvement on methylprednisolone pulse therapy. The case suggests the utility of such a therapy in severe, non focal, CNS complications of SLE.

Diffusion generative models, a class of machine learning techniques, have shown remarkable promise in materials science and chemistry by enabling the precise generation of complex molecular structures. In this article, we propose a novel application of diffusion generative models for stabilizing reactive molecular structures identified through quantum mechanical screening. Specifically, we focus on the design challenge presented by singlet fission (SF), a phenomenon crucial for advancing solar cell efficiency beyond theoretical limits.

ALK-positive large B-cell lymphoma (ALK+ LBCL) is a rare neoplasm with an aggressive course and poor therapeutic response to the standard R-CHOP regimen. Owing to its negativity for usual B- and T-cell markers and immunopositivity for epithelial markers, it can be easily misdiagnosed if it is not contemplated. To study the clinicopathological parameters of cases of ALK+ LBCL diagnosed at our institution.

Primary hepatic lymphoma (PHL) is a lymphoproliferative disorder confined to the liver, with no evidence of lymphomatous involvement in other organs. Here, we report a case of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL)-type PHL in a patient with a long history of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) and Sjögren's syndrome (SS). A 78-year-old woman presented with epigastralgia and was found to have a solitary liver tumor by contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT).

Metastasis to the rectum is very rare and is usually caused by primaries from the breast, gastrointestinal tract, and genitourinary system. We report here a case of acute intestinal obstruction caused by an unusual rectal stenosis, for which he underwent a diversion stoma. On extensive evaluation for the etiology of the rectal stenosis, he was diagnosed with diffuse gastric cancer with Schnitzler's metastasis to the rectal submucosa.
