Objectives: To characterize the serum cytokine profile in myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD) at onset and during follow-up and assess their utility for predicting relapses and disability.
Methods: This retrospective multicentric cohort study included patients aged 16 years and older meeting MOGAD 2023 criteria, with serum samples collected at baseline (≤3 months from disease onset) and follow-up (≥6 months from the baseline), and age-matched and time to sampling-matched patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Eleven cytokines were assessed using the ELLA system.

To study the neuronal protective effect and its potential mechanism of C16 against gp120-induced cognitive impairment in vitro and in vivo. The NORT method was used to evaluate the short-term memory abilities of rats, the morphological changes in hippocampus were observed by Nissl staining. Major histocompatibility complex class I deficiency results from deleterious biallelic variants in TAP1, TAP2, TAPBP, and B2M genes. Only a few patients with variant-curated TAP1 deficiency (TAP1D) have been reported in the literature and the clinical phenotype has been variable with an emphasis on autoimmune and inflammatory complications. We report TAP1D in a Nepalese girl with a severe clinical phenotype with serious viral infections at a very young age.

Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy for solid tumors faces significant challenges, including inadequate infiltration, limited proliferation, diminished effector function of CAR T cells, and an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME). In this study, we utilized The Cancer Genome Atlas database to identify key chemokines (CCL4, CCL5, and CCR5) associated with T cell infiltration across various solid tumor types. The CCL4/CCL5-CCR5 axis emerged as significantly correlated with the presence of T cells within tumors, and enhancing the expression of CCR5 in CAR T cells bolstered their migratory capacity.
