Anthocyanin composition in the berries of Laurus nobilis L., a perennial tree or shrub typical of the Mediterranean region, was determined for the first time. The pigments were extracted from the berries with 0.1% HCl in methanol, purified on a C-18 solid-phase cartridge, and characterized by means of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-diode array detection (DAD)-mass spectrometry (MS) analysis. The major anthocyanins were characterized as cyanidin 3-O-glucoside (41%) and cyanidin 3-O-rutinoside (53%). Furthermore, two minor anthocyanins were detected and identified as 3-O-glucoside and 3-O-rutinoside derivatives of peonidin (5%). The two major pigments were also isolated by preparative HPLC and characterized by H1 nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. The attractive color and the great abundance of the plant in the south of Italy make Laurus nobilis berries a new and very good source of natural pigments.

Objective: This study was designed to assess the complications raised in different suture-passing techniques when fixating the Sacrospinous ligament for pelvic organ prolapse (POP).
Search Strategy: We searched PubMed, Embase, Scopus, Web of Sciences, ProQuest, Google Scholar, and Cochrane Library, and performed a systematic review meta-analysis to assess complications when implementing different suture passings in fixating the sacrospinous ligament.
Selection Criteria: The inclusion and exclusion criteria for literature screening were predetermined to allow for a more rigorous process.

The purpose of this research was to establish and validate a reverse phase HPLC method for the determination of Elagolix impurities in pharmaceutical dosage form. Mobile phase A, consisting of 10 mM sodium dihydrogen phosphate (pH 6.0) and acetonitrile in a 95:5 v/v ratio, and mobile phase B, containing 85:10:5 v/v/v of acetonitrile, Milli-Q water, and methanol, were used to achieve the method's specificity in the analytical column Kromasil 100-C18 (250 mm × 4.

Wound or injury can be defined as partial or complete separation of the skin, while the healing of the wounds is defined as the sequences of processes by which the skin heals and returns to its normal appearance. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of leaf extracts on the healing of open wounds in rabbits. Twenty-four healthy rabbits were used, divided randomly into control and treated groups, each consisting of 12 rabbits.
