This study presents Born-Oppenheimer energies and transition dipole moments of the 36 lowest electronic states of the N2+ ion as a function of internuclear distance in the interval between 1.5 and 10 bohrs obtained in first-principles calculations. The electronic states are of the total electronic spin S = 1/2, 3/2, and 5/2, dissociating toward to the lowest four N(4S0) + N+(3P), N(2P0) + N+(3P), N(2D0) + N+(3P), and N(4S0) + N+(1D) dissociation limits.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI), as a new type of targeted therapeutic drugs, have demonstrated durable efficacy in cancer treatment. However, some patients receiving ICI treatment may be affected by immune-related adverse events (irAE). Compared with irAE in skin tissues, gastrointestinal system, etc.

We present an theoretical method to calculate the resonant Auger spectrum in the presence of ultrafast dissociation. The method is demonstrated by deriving the L-VV resonant Auger spectrum mediated by the 2pσ* resonance in HCl, where the electronic Auger decay and nuclear dissociation occur on the same time scale. The Auger decay rates are calculated within the one-center approximation and are shown to vary significantly with the inter-nuclear distance.

The authors present the case of a 5-year-old boy who developed a unilateral internuclear ophthalmoplegia (INO) following mild head trauma with supporting magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings of damage to the medial longitudinal fasciculus. At 2 months of follow-up, the patient had resolution of diplopia and only minimal residual nystagmus. Although rare in the children, INO can develop following head trauma.

Background: Wall-eyed bilateral internuclear ophthalmoplegia (WEBINO) is an uncommon ocular motor disorder which is featured by binocular exotropia and bilateral internuclear ophthalmoplegia.
Methods: A 71-year-old man with hypertension presented to the emergency department with sudden-onset diplopia. Neurological examination, neuroimaging, blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) testing were performed.
