Tumor lysis syndrome (TLS), a life threatening metabolic syndrome seen in malignancies with high tumor burden, is reviewed in this article. The new Cairo and Bishop classification system is discussed as well as the clinical management of this syndrome. Special emphasis is placed on the use of a relatively new agent, rasburicase, as an alternative to allopurinol in the management of TLS-associated hyperuricemia.

Introduction: Pediatric sarcomas, including osteosarcoma (OS), Ewing sarcoma (EwS) and rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) carry low somatic mutational burden and low MHC-I expression, posing a challenge for T cell therapies. Our previous study showed that mediators of monocyte maturation sensitized the EwS cell line A673 to lysis by HLA-A*02:01/CHM1-specific allorestricted T cell receptor (TCR) transgenic CD8 T cells (CHM1 CD8 T cells).

Preface And Importance: Burkitt's lymphoma (BL) is a relatively rare post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD), and there is currently limited research on the occurrence of BL following adult liver transplantation.

The present work is the first attempt to utilize hydrogel-loaded carvacrol-based chemotherapy with fractionated photothermal therapy (F-PTT) using a 635 nm laser for its treatment.
