Neurocytomas are neuronal tumors that are usually intraventricular. Rare cases can arise from extraventricular sites. To our knowledge, only 29 cases of extraventricular neurocytoma of the sellar region (EVNSR) have been reported in the literature.

Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory condition that can impact multiple organs in the body such as the lungs, skin, eyes, and, occasionally, the central nervous system. When sarcoidosis affects the nervous system, it is referred to as neurosarcoidosis and is estimated to occur in approximately 5%-15% of sarcoid patients. When neurosarcoidosis affects the pituitary gland, it can result in panhypopituitarism, which can be life-threatening.

The incidence of unplanned reoperation after surgery during the same hospitalization is considered one of most important evaluation indicators for health care quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence and risk factors related to unplanned reoperation after an endoscopic endonasal approach (EEA). All patients who underwent elective endoscopic endonasal surgery from January 2016 to December 2021 in the Department of Neurosurgery, Tangdu Hospital, Air Force Military Medical University, were included.

Central nervous system germ cell tumors are rare lesions that are more frequently seen in the pediatric age group. Intracranial germinomas are a type of these germ cell tumors and commonly arise in the pineal region, suprasellar region, or less frequently at both areas (bifocal). Common features of this tumor depend on the location of the lesion(s) and include Parinaud's syndrome, obstructive hydrocephalus, diabetes insipidus, panhypopituitarism, strabismus, and visual acuity defects.
