Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to assess the safety, specifically the toxicity profile and maximum-tolerated dose (MTD), of the drug cediranib in children and adolescents with solid tumors.
  • Sixteen patients were treated, with dose adjustments based on observed toxicities; the MTD was established at 12 mg/m²/day.
  • Positive responses were noted in certain tumor types, leading to the conclusion that 12 mg/m²/day is the recommended dose for future studies in this population.
