Fifty canine lymphomas were classified cytomorphologically using the updated Kiel classification scheme. Aspirates of lymph nodes from dogs with lymphoma were stained using 5 canine-specific antibodies and 3 human-specific antibodies that cross-react with canine lymphocytes. The antibody-stained aspirates were analyzed by flow cytometry. A total of 32 (64%) of the 50 lymphomas were characterized as B-cell origin and 18 (36%) were of T-cell origin. B-cell lymphomas were identified in 12 females and 20 males with a mean age of 8.35 years. T-cell lymphomas were identified in 8 females and 10 males with a mean age of 7.9 years. A minority of the lymphomas were low-grade B-cell and T-cell lymphomas (6/50, 12% and 4/50, 8%, respectively). The most common morphologic types were high-grade centroblastic and unclassifiable plasmacytoid for B- and T-cell lymphomas (18/50, 36% and 7/50, 14%, respectively).

Background: In vivo T-cell depletion with antithymocyte globulin (ATG), especially at high-doses has been shown to be associated with increased incidence of infections after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). However, it remains unclear whether ATG, even at low-doses increases the risk of posttransplant infections in the high-risk HSCT setting.
Patients And Methods: We conducted a single-center retrospective study of viral and fungal infections early after transplantation, using the data from 82 patients with hematological malignancies.

A Roman goose (Anser anser domesticus) was presented with a large mass on the left lateral side of the neck with a smaller satellite mass on the right. Utilizing radiography, blood tests, and histological and immunohistochemical investigations, a diagnosis of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma associated with hypercalcemia of malignancy was established. The involvement of oncogenic viruses was ruled out through PCR and RT-PCRs.

T cell lymphoma constitutes a complex group of diseases, characterized by heterogeneous molecular features and clinical symptoms, and a dismal outcome no matter the therapeutic strategy chosen. In an attempt to improve patients' survival chances, treatment combinations (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, gene therapy and thermotherapy) have been tested for their synergistic effects that may dramatically improve outcomes and reduce the side effects of each single modality treatment when therapeutic effects add up while side effects are distributed. In this context, nanoscale drug delivery agents have been developed and exploited to enhance the release of drugs in the treatment of several diseases, showing potential benefits in terms of pharmaceutical flexibility, selectivity, dose reduction and minimization of adverse effects.

We provide an overview of recent advances in the diagnosis and classification of intestinal T- and NK-cell lymphomas and lymphoproliferative disorders that primarily involve the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. It should be mentioned that systemic T- and NK-cell lymphomas can present initially in the GI tract but are not the focus of this review. Here, we focus on the clinical and pathologic findings of enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma, monomorphic epitheliotropic intestinal T-cell lymphoma, intestinal T-cell lymphoma not otherwise specified, indolent T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder of the GI tract and indolent NK-cell lymphoproliferative disorder of the GI tract (previously known as NK-cell enteropathy).

Histone deacetylases (HDACs) play a critical role in chromatin remodelling and modulating the activity of various histone proteins. Aberrant HDAC functions has been related to the progression of breast cancer (BC), making HDAC inhibitors (HDACi) promising small-molecule therapeutics for its treatment. Hydroxamic acid (HA) is a significant pharmacophore due to its strong metal-chelating ability, HDAC inhibition properties, MMP inhibition abilities, and more.
