Objective: To measure breast basic dimension by using computer-aided projection fringe system.
Methods: A system has been developed for measuring breast basic dimension based on computer-aided projection fringe measurement and programming software. Plastic manikins breast's SN-N (sternal notch to nipple distance), N-ML (nipple to midline distance), N-N (internipple distance), MBW (base width of breast) and N-IMF (nipple to inframammary fold distance) are measured with this system. At the same time, these items are also measured with routine ruler.
Results: This study indicate that the system has some merits: (1) non-touching measurement; (2) it is very rapid, the patient measured need hold his breath only 0.5 second, and all the time it takes is about 2.5 minutes; (3) the measurement's sensitivity is as high as to 0.6 mm, which meets the clinic requirement entirely; (4) the measurement's accuracy of the system is not significantly when comparing to the routine ruler's.
Conclusions: Computer-aided projection fringe system for measuring breast basic dimension is feasible and advanced.

Background And Objective: Automatic generation of medical reports reduces both the burden on radiologists and the possibility of errors due to the inexperience of radiologists. The model that utilizes attention mechanism and contrastive learning can generate medical reports by capturing both general and specific semantics. However, existing contrastive learning methods ignore the specificity of medical data, that is, a patient may suffer from multiple diseases at the same time.

Objective: This study aimed to explore the applications of three-dimensional (3D) technology, including virtual reality, augmented reality (AR), and 3D printing system, in the field of medicine, particularly in renal interventions for cancer treatment.
Methods: A specialized software transforms 2D medical images into precise 3D digital models, facilitating improved anatomical understanding and surgical planning. Patient-specific 3D printed anatomical models are utilized for preoperative planning, intraoperative guidance, and surgical education.

Metallization, a process for applying anti-corrosion coatings, has advantages over hot-dip galvanizing, such as reduced thermal stress and the ability to work "in situ". This process consists of the projection of a protective metal as coating from a wire as application material, and this wire is obtained by multi-stage wiredrawing. For the metallization process, a zinc-aluminum alloy wire obtained by this process is used.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare radiation dose reduction capability for accurate liver tumor measurements of a computer-aided volumetry (CADv) software for filtered back projection (FBP), hybrid-type iterative reconstruction (IR), mode-based iterative reconstruction (MBIR), and deep learning reconstruction (DLR) at a phantom study.
Methods: A commercially available anthropomorphic abdominal phantom was scanned five times with a 320-detector row CT at 600 mA, 400 mA, 200 mA, and 100 mA and reconstructed by four methods. Signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) of all lesions within the arterial and portal-venous phase inserts were calculated, and SNR of the lesion phantom was compared with that of all reconstruction methods by means of Tukey's honestly significant difference (HSD) test.

The World Health Organization declared a state of emergency in 2022 because of monkeypox. This disease has raised international concern as it has spread beyond Africa, where it is endemic. The global community has shown attention and solidarity in combating this disease as its daily increase becomes evident.
