The effect of solution temperature (20, 40 and 60 degrees C) on the emission intensity of ICP has been studied. The results show that the spectrum intensity of the elements Ba, Cu and Zn increases obviously with increasing the solution temperature. In addition, at different solution temperatures, the rule of the variation of the intensity with both observation height and nebulizer gas pressure has been obtained, which indicates that the best observation location is lowered when increasing the temperature, but the best nebulizer gas pressure is augmented.

Background: There is no consensus regarding the optimal regimen for metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (dmNPC). Locoregional intensity modulated radiotherapy (LRRT) following palliative chemotherapy (PCT) has been shown to prolong the overall survival (OS) and improve the progression-free survival (PFS) of patients with dmNPC, compared with PCT alone. However, patients with a high tumor burden do not benefit from additional LRRT, which inevitably results in toxicity.

Objectives: The advantages of indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence cholangiography have been emphasized, but its disadvantages remain unclear. This study investigated the advantages and disadvantages of this modality, particularly the optimal timing of administration of ICG fluorescence.
Design: This was a retrospective analysis of prospectively collected patient data.

Heparin (HEP) is one of the oldest anticoagulant drugs, widely used in clinical settings, particularly in surgery and dialysis machines. Despite its long history, it remains extensively employed in medical practice. This study introduces a selective and cost-effective method for the rapid detection of HEP using red-emission carbon dots (R-CDs).

Utilizing fluorescence spectroscopy, we demonstrate that the polymer displays a marked enhancement in luminescence upon aggregation, a characteristic behavior that distinguishes AIE-active materials from conventional fluorophores. Furthermore, we explore the potential application of this multilayered 3D polymer as a fluorescent probe for the selective detection of specified metal ions.

The self-absorption effects observed in the background intensity just above the Si L-emission spectra of Si and β-Si3N4, and the C K-emission spectra of diamond and graphite were examined. Based on comparisons with reported results, the energy positions of absorption edges-representing the bottom of conduction bands (CB)-were assigned. The self-absorption profiles in the background intensities were consistent with previously reported data.
