Background: A good blood supply towards the endometrium is usually considered to be an essential requirement for implantation. We aimed to evaluate the role of endometrial and subendometrial blood flows in the prediction of pregnancy during IVF treatment.

Methods: Patients undergoing the first IVF cycle were recruited. A three-dimensional (3D) ultrasound examination with power Doppler was performed on the day of oocyte retrieval to determine endometrial thickness, endometrial pattern, pulsatility index (PI) and resistance index (RI) of uterine vessels, endometrial volume, vascularization index (VI), flow index (FI) and vascularization flow index (VFI) of endometrial and subendometrial regions.

Results: Uterine RI, endometrial VI and VFI were significantly lower in the pregnant group than the non-pregnant group. There was a non-significant trend of higher implantation and pregnancy rates in patients with absent endometrial or subendometrial blood flow. The number of embryos replaced and endometrial VI were the only two predictive factors for pregnancy. Receiver operator characteristic curve analysis revealed that the area under the curve was approximately 0.5 for all ultrasound parameters for endometrial receptivity.

Conclusion: Endometrial and subendometrial blood flows measured by 3D power Doppler ultrasound were not good predictors of pregnancy if they were measured at one time-point during IVF treatment.

: The aim of this study is to assess the inter- and intra-observer reproducibility of the identification of direct and indirect ultrasonographic features of adenomyosis as defined by the revised Morphological Uterus Sonographic Assessment (MUSA) consensus (2022). : A cohort of 74 women, aged 18 to 45, were recruited from the recurrent miscarriage and general gynaecology clinic at a university-based fertility centre. All the participants underwent 2D and 3D transvaginal Ultrasound scan (TVS) examination in the late follicular and early luteal phase.

This study was conducted to re-evaluate the utility of subendometrial enhancement (SEE) in assessing the interface between the endometrium and myometrium. In total, 110 women who underwent pelvic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for non-endometrial gynecologic diseases were enrolled in this prospective study. Two radiologists independently assessed the presence or absence of subendometrial enhancement (SEE) on dynamic contrast-enhanced (CE) MRI.

Purpose: Multiple factors have been shown to influence the rate of clinical pregnancy after FET in IVF treatment, including embryo quality, synchronization of embryo and endometrium, and endometrial receptivity (ER). The subendometrial blood flow conditions could also contribute potentially major effects toward the establishment and maintenance of pregnancy. We conducted a retrospective cohort study to examine the correlation between subendometrial blood flow, as determined by Doppler ultrasound, and pregnancy outcomes in IVF patients with a thin endometrium (endometrium thickness [EMT] ≤ 0.

Polycystic ovary syndrome is a common endocrine disorder, characterized by hyperandrogenism and/or chronic oligo/anovulation, which leads to infertility. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to explore the efficacy of letrozole compared with clomiphene citrate for ovulation induction in women with polycystic ovarian syndrome. The study protocol has been registered with PROSPERO (registration number CRD42022376611).

Endometrial elasticity is a potential new marker for assessing endometrial receptivity and pregnancy outcomes based on endometrial thickness and type. Currently, little research has been conducted on the elasticity of the endometrium using shear wave elasticity imaging (SWEI). This study aimed to explore whether endometrial elasticity is an ultrasound marker for predicting clinical pregnancy outcomes after embryo transfer.
