In patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) the prevalence of obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is found to be about 14-65%. In this study, the influence of OSA in 50 patients with CAD was prospectively compared during a follow-up period of 10 years. In the follow-up period 4 of 25 patients with OSA and 5 of the 25 without OSA died by cardiovascular complications. The proportion survival curve showed no significant difference for patients with CAD and with versus without OSA. The results of this rather small 10-year follow-up study failed to give further evidence for an increased mortality in patients with CAD and OSA.

Objective: This case report presents the interdisciplinary retreatment of a patient with a worn full-mouth rehabilitation using defect-oriented restorations, horizontal preparations, and vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO) increase.
Clinical Considerations: A 58-year-old woman with a previous full-mouth rehabilitation presented with worn dentition, loss of VDO, and reduced posterior support. Examination revealed signs of parafunctional habits, tetracycline-stained teeth, and compromised aesthetics with exposed discolored teeth and open embrasure spaces.

Background: Cold agglutinin disease (CAD) or syndrome (CAS) can be particularly challenging when autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT) is needed. Standard peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC) collection and manipulation involve ex vivo blood manipulations at lower than body temperature, predisposing to agglutination during graft collection, handling, processing, and infusion.
Study Design And Methods: We describe the first case of ASCT for relapsing lymphoma in a patient with high-titer CAD requiring anti-complement therapy and chronic transfusion.
