Ground-based LiDAR technology has been widely applied in various fields for acquiring 3D point cloud data, including spatial coordinates, digital color information, and laser reflectance intensities (I-values). These datasets preserve the digital information of scanned objects, supporting value-added applications. However, raw point cloud data visually represent spatial features but lack attribute information, posing challenges for automated object classification and effective management.

Accurately identifying and discriminating between different brain states is a major emphasis of functional brain imaging research. Various machine learning techniques play an important role in this regard. However, when working with a small number of study participants, the lack of sufficient data and achieving meaningful classification results remain a challenge.

Hepatic encephalopathy (HE) in dogs is a metabolic disorder of the central nervous system that occurs secondarily to liver dysfunctions, whether due to acquired or congenital causes. A portosystemic shunt is the presence of abnormal communications between the hepatic vessels (portal and suprahepatic veins). As a result of this, the blood brought from the digestive tract through the portal vein bypasses the liver, and the unmetabolized components of the portal bloodstream enter directly into systemic circulation, causing clinical symptoms of metabolic encephalopathy (HE).

Fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM) has established itself as a pivotal tool for investigating biological processes within living cells. However, the extensive imaging duration necessary to accumulate sufficient photons for accurate fluorescence lifetime calculations poses a significant obstacle to achieving high-resolution monitoring of cellular dynamics. In this study, we introduce an image reconstruction method based on the edge-preserving interpolation method (EPIM), which transforms rapidly acquired low-resolution FLIM data into high-pixel images, thereby eliminating the need for extended acquisition times.

Objective: To investigate how the blood flow analysis changes by varying the radiation dose of gastric perfusion CT (PCT) and to prove that a low-radiation dose of PCT is feasible.
Methods: 5 Beagle dogs were used in a crossover study with 6 groups of varying radiation doses. Iodixanol was IV administered at 3.
