The author examines some of the dynamics associated with the shifting experience of knowing and not knowing as it arises in response to the pregnancy of the analyst. This experience, as well as the thinking process behind it, is ubiquitous in psychoanalytic work, but is particularly apparent in the work demanded by the analyst's pregnancy. An indepth case history is presented to illustrate the ways in which pregnancy in the analyst may powerfully revive important dimensions of the patient's past.

COVID-19 impacted many men's intimate partner relationships, with distressed and disrupted partnerships consistently featured in commentaries with linkages to mental health challenges. The current study draws from interviews with 23 Canadian-based men, 19-50 years old, who experienced a break-up during COVID-19. Addressing the research question, "What are the connections between masculinities, men's mental health, and intimate partner relationship break-ups during COVID-19?", three thematic findings were derived: (1) Virtually Together and Growing Apart, (2) Mentally Trapped, and Failing Fast and Slow, and (3) Introspections and Moving On.

Metacognition, the ability to monitor and regulate one's own cognitive processes, is subject to varying degrees of modification in patients suffering from neurodegenerative diseases. The literature suggests the existence of dissociations within metacognitive abilities, with some patients exhibiting, for example, specific impairments in self-assessing their memory (and not other cognitive domains). The specific assessment of metacognition in patients' social-cognitive abilities is underdeveloped, although it has significant implications for both clinical and theoretical purposes.

The incidence of this phenomenon can lead to patients suffering from posterior circulation neurological deficit if the ICA becomes significantly diseased. VA atypical anatomical origin is considered one of the rare pathologies, not only precipitating neurovascular incidents but equally leading to severe difficulty in VA dissection and surgical exposure, especially in carotid artery procedures.

Despite kTx being the most effective treatment for end-stage renal disease, the patients face significant morbidity. They are often burdened with diabetes, anaemia, lipid disorders, all of which pose heightened risks for cardiovascular disease.
