A method based on Fourier transform to compensate the non-linear attenuation of optical fiber used as a probe in a spectrum-collecting system was proposed. First the output electric currents of photoelectric tube with and without fiber were transformed to the frequency field. So an adjustable function in frequency field was obtained, and the adjustable function was transformed to the spectrum field, so the final adjustable function was obtained. A photoelectric system was designed for testing. With visible light, this method can make the error rate of fiber transmission as low as less than 1.54%. It is proved that the method is fit for adjusting some optical fiber spectrum attenuation.

Blastoids-blastocyst-like structures created in vitro-emerge as a valuable model for early embryonic development research. Non-human primates stem cell-derived blastoids are an ethically viable alternative to human counterparts, yet the low formation efficiency of monkey blastoid cavities, typically below 30%, has limited their utility. Prior research has predominantly utilized embryonic stem cells.

This study endeavors to develop a predefined-time adaptive neural network decentralized controller for large-scale interconnected nonlinear systems with input hysteresis. Within the framework of the backstepping technique, the proposed control scheme guarantees that the tracking error converges to a small bounded set within a predefined settling time. The upper limit of this convergence time is determined by a single adjustable control parameter.

Carrier-free nanomedicines exhibited significant potential in elevating drug efficacy and safety for tumor management, yet their self assembly typically relied on chemical modifications of drugs or the incorporation of surfactants, thereby compromising the drug's inherent pharmacological activity. To address this challenge, we proposed a triethylamine (TEA)-mediated protonation-deprotonation strategy that enabled the adjustable-proportion self assembly of dual drugs without chemical modification, achieving nearly 100% drug loading capacity. Molecular dynamic simulations, supported by experiment evidence, elucidated the underlying self-assembly mechanism.

Polymers of intrinsic microporosity (PIMs) are an emerging class of amorphous organic porous materials with solution processability, which are widely used in a multitude of fields such as gas separation, ion conduction, nanofiltration, etc. PIMs have adjustable pore structure and functional pore wall, so it can achieve selective sieving for specific substances. In order to meet the functional requirements of PIMs, two principal methods are used to synthesize functional PIMs, namely, post-modification of PIMs precursors and functionalization of monomers.

The hippocampus supports a multiplicity of functions, with the dorsal region contributing to spatial representations and memory, and the ventral hippocampus (vH) being primarily involved in emotional processing. While spatial encoding has been extensively investigated, how the vH activity is tuned to emotional states, e.g.
