Background: Although transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation (tSCS) has been suggested as a safe and feasible intervention for gait rehabilitation, no studies have determined its effectiveness compared to sham stimulation.
Objective: To determine the effectiveness of tSCS combined with robotic-assisted gait training (RAGT) on lower limb muscle strength and walking function in incomplete spinal cord injury (iSCI) participants.
Methods: A randomized, double-blind, sham-controlled clinical trial was conducted.

Background: Clinical guidelines in the UK and elsewhere do not specifically address hybrid closed loop (HCL) use in the postpartum period when the demands of caring for a newborn are paramount. Our aim was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of HCL use during the first 6 months postpartum compared with standard care.
Methods: In this prespecified extension to a multicentre, randomised controlled trial, pregnant women with type 1 diabetes at nine UK sites were followed up for 6 months postpartum.

Currently, there is a lack of evidence-based research, objective data collection, and opportunities for learning from real newborn resuscitation emergency events. Generating and evaluating automated newborn resuscitation algorithm activity timelines relative to the Time of Birth (ToB) offers a promising opportunity to enhance newborn care practices.

This study investigates brake wear particle (BWP) emissions from light-duty electric vehicles (EVs) and heavy-duty vehicles (HDVs) using a self-developed whole-vehicle testing system and a modified brake dynamometer. The results show that regenerative braking significantly reduces emissions: weak and strong regenerative braking modes reduce brake wear PM by 75 % and 87 %, and brake wear PM by 90 % and 95 %, respectively. HDVs with drum brakes produce lower emissions and higher PM/PM ratios than those with disc brakes.
