Background: SWI/SNF complex-deficient sinonasal carcinomas are rare, genetically distinct, and aggressive entities.
Methods: SMARCB1 and SMARCA4 immunohistochemistry was retrospectively performed on a cohort of undifferentiated, poorly differentiated, and poorly defined sinonasal carcinomas. Survival outcomes were compared between SMARCB1/SMARCA4 (SWI/SNF complex)-deficient and -retained groups.

Background: De-escalation strategies for newly-diagnosed p16-positive oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (p16+ OPSCC), aim to reduce treatment-related morbidity without compromising disease control. One strategy is neoadjuvant cisplatin and docetaxel chemotherapy (NAC + S) before transoral robotic surgery, with pathology-based risk-adapted adjuvant treatment.
Methods: We examined the recurrence-free survival (RFS) for patients who received NAC + S.

Objective: Maximal safe resection of gliomas near motor pathways is facilitated by intraoperative mapping. Here, the authors review their results with triple-modality asleep motor mapping with motor evoked potentials and bipolar and monopolar stimulation for cortical and subcortical mapping during glioma surgery in an expanded cohort.
Methods: This was a retrospective analysis of patients who underwent resection of a perirolandic glioma near motor pathways.

Purpose: Nuclear medicine imaging modalities like computed tomography (CT), single photon emission CT (SPECT) and positron emission tomography (PET) are employed in the field of theranostics to estimate and plan the dose delivered to tumors and the surrounding tissues and to monitor the effect of the therapy. However, therapeutic radionuclides often provide poor images, which translate to inaccurate treatment planning and inadequate monitoring images. Multimodality information can be exploited in the reconstruction to enhance image quality.

Dairy goat kids are commonly disbudded in the United States without pain relief. Our objective was to identify an efficient pain management strategy by monitoring changes in plasma biomarkers and behavior of disbudded goat kids. A total of 42 kids (5-18 d old at the time of disbudding) were randomly allocated to 1 of 7 treatments (n = 6/treatment): sham treatment; 0.
