Maxillofacial trauma is the main cause of emergency admittance to dental clinics. Mental retardation and epileptic status are important factors in an increase in the risk of dental injuries. Tooth avulsion, which is the total displacement of a tooth out of its socket, is an infrequently observed entity. Maxillary central incisors are the most commonly affected teeth. The case of a patient with severe dental injury resulting from an epileptic attack is presented. He had several teeth avulsed and displacement of a tooth into the soft tissue of the chin.

Background: A broken bur retained in the lower jaw is an uncommon complication that occurs during the extraction of the impacted mandibular third molar. The purpose of this retrospective study was to investigate the clinical characteristics of the broken burs and review our experience with the removal of the broken burs in these cases.
Methods: All patients, who suffered the broken bur remained in the lower jaw due to the extraction of the impacted mandibular third molar and presented to our hospital from July 2019 to July 2024, were included in this retrospective study.

The prevalence of oromaxillofacial fracture in pediatric patients is comparatively less than in adults, which could be due to several inconclusive factors, such as infrequent exposure to high-contact sports games, rash driving of vehicles and motorbikes, alcohol consumption, and fist fights for personal reasons under the influence of alcohol. More importantly, most of the time, children are under the care of their parents till they reach an age of maturity. One more thing that everyone believes even today is the elasticity nature of their bones as well as their body weight during their growing stage.

Objectives: To investigate the prevalence and factors associated with dentin hypersensitivity (DH) and non-carious cervical lesions (NCCLs).
Methods: The analytical cross-sectional study included 157 participants aged between 18 and 45 years, who were clinically examined and answered a questionnaire related to their lifestyle and daily habits (diet, parafunctional habits, temporomandibular disorders, general and oral health) and the Beck Anxiety Inventory. A descriptive analysis of the prevalence of DH and NCCL was performed, both at the individual level and considering the distribution among the teeth.
