Cystic masses of the knee comprise a diverse group of pathologic entities ranging from simple cysts to complications of underlying disease to tumors. Although their presentations may be similar, the appropriate treatment and patient management can differ greatly. In this article, we review radiographic and magnetic resonance imaging characteristics of both common and uncommon cystic masses of the knee.

Introduction: Mucinous appendiceal neoplasms are unique tumors in which >50 % of the tumor volume is composed of extracellular mucin. They may present as an unruptured mucin-filled appendix or, more commonly, with peritoneal metastases after rupture or transmural invasion of the primary tumor. This case report describes a case of presumed ovarian malignancy with final pathologic diagnosis of low grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm.

Objective: The 2019 Bosniak classification has improved the precise and detailed quantitative evaluation criteria, making the diagnosis of cystic renal masses (CRMs) more accurate and objective. This study addresses the clinical value of quantitative analysis and aims to investigate the feasibility of combining contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) with quantitative analysis for diagnosing Bosniak ≥ II CRMs.
Methods: We retrospectively obtained 58 CRMs with confirmed pathology, which underwent CEUS and Contrast-enhanced computer tomography (CECT) evaluations according to Bosniak classification between January 2013 and August 2024.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the electronic medical records of all patients below 18 years of age who underwent surgical treatment for ovarian masses at our institute between 2009 and 2023. Study variables included demography, clinical presentation, physical findings, tumor markers, radiologic features, operative details, histopathology, follow-up status, and overall survival.
