Coding information is the main source of heterogeneity (non-randomness) in the sequences of microbial genomes. The heterogeneity corresponds to a cluster structure in triplet distributions of relatively short genomic fragments (200-400 bp). We found a universal 7-cluster structure in microbial genomic sequences and explained its properties. We show that codon usage of bacterial genomes is a multi-linear function of their genomic G+C-content with high accuracy. Based on the analysis of 143 completely sequenced bacterial genomes available in Genbank in August 2004, we show that there are four "pure" types of the 7-cluster structure observed. All 143 cluster animated 3D-scatters are collected in a database which is made available on our web-site (http://www.ihes.fr/~zinovyev/7clusters). The findings can be readily introduced into software for gene prediction, sequence alignment or microbial genomes classification.

The geometrical structure, stability, electronic properties, and hydrogen storage capabilities of a titanium-doped B cluster was calculated using density functional theory computations. The results show that the TiB cluster is predicted to be stable under near-ambient conditions based on an ab initio molecular dynamic simulation. The transition state analysis found that the H molecule can dissociate on the TIB cluster surface to form a hydride cluster.

Hetero-metal doping or substitution to create alloy clusters is a highly appealing strategy for improving physicochemical characteristics as well as tailoring optical and electronic properties, although high-yield synthesis of alloy clusters with precise positioning of doped metals is a daunting challenge. Herein, we manifest rational synthesis of chiral alloy cluster enantiomers R/S-AgCu in 85 %-87 % yield by replacing one Ag(I) atom with Cu(I) in homometallic clusters R/S-Ag, achieving circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) with a quantum yield beyond 90 %. As a small energy gap (ca.

We report an investigation on the structures and chemical bonding in a series of di-lanthanum boron clusters, LaB ( = 4-6), using photoelectron spectroscopy and theoretical calculations. Well-resolved photoelectron spectra are obtained and used to verify the global minima of the lanthanide boron clusters. The structures of LaB and LaB are found to consist of open B and B rings, respectively, around the La dimer equatorially.

Objective: To assess the impact of COVID-19 on immunization coverage and delayed vaccination among tribal children in the Khordha district of Odisha state.
Methods: A cross-sectional rapid epidemiological survey was conducted using a standard WHO (30 × 7) cluster survey with 30 tribal villages under the Community Health Centre (CHC), Mendhasala, Odisha, as clusters and seven children from each cluster. A total of 14 children from each cluster; seven each born in 2019 (2019 cohort) and 2020 (2020 cohort), amounting to 420 children were included.
