The aim of this paper is to describe the first reported use of computed tomography (CT) guided lumbar sympathetic block as treatment of a case of complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) in a child. The potential aetiology of CRPS is discussed in relation to the mechanism of action of local anaesthetics used in the block. Based on the successful treatment of this child and the documented success of its use in adults, we conclude that despite the minimal dose of radiation given, CT guided lumbar sympathetic block is an important treatment option in CRPS in children.

Background And Objectives: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and neurohistopathology are important correlates for evaluation of disease progression in multiple sclerosis (MS). Here we used experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) as an animal model of MS to determine the correlation between clinical EAE severity, MRI and histopathological parameters.
Methods: N = 11 female C57BL/6J mice were immunized with human myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein 1-125, while N = 9 remained non-immunized.

Purpose: The purpose of this work was to establish national Irish diagnostic reference levels (DRLs) for a clinically representative and comprehensive list of clinical indications, anatomical regions, and common procedures for fluoroscopy and fluoroscopically guided interventions and compare these, where possible, to other DRLs established at a national level.
Method: A list of clinical indications, anatomical regions and common procedures was established. A national database of service providers was used to identify all medical radiological facilities providing fluoroscopy and fluoroscopically guided intervention services.

Study Design: Retrospective review.
Objective: To validate using patient-reported outcome measurement information system-pain interference (PROMIS-PI) to assess outcomes in patients undergoing lumbar decompression surgery compared with well-established pain and disability measures.
Summary Of Background Data: PROMIS outcomes provide valuable information, but the PROMIS-PI measure has not been validated in lumbar decompression.

Osseous sarcoidosis is a rare manifestation of sarcoidosis, often mimicking other conditions like metastatic disease. Skeletal involvement occurs in only 3%-13% of cases (1), making diagnosis challenging. We present the case of a 63-year-old female with a 1-month history of inflammatory bone pain and multiple lytic and blastic lesions.
