Mucopolysaccharidosis type VI (MPS VI, Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome, McKusick #253200) is a lysosomal storage disorder that is caused by a deficiency in the lysosomal exohydrolase N-acetylgalactosamine-4-sulphatase (4-sulphatase, EC 3.1.6.1). We report a patient with no obvious clinical signs of MPS VI that has 5% of normal 4-sulphatase catalytic capacity. This patient represents an index case for the attenuated end of the MPS VI clinical spectrum.

Auditory/visual hallucinations and perceptual anomalies are one of the core symptoms experienced by patients with schizophrenia. Studies have implicated lateral occipital cortex (LOC) as one of the areas to be aberrantly functioning in schizophrenia, possibly associated with the auditory/visual symptoms of schizophrenia. Background And Purpose: MRI is crucial for multiple sclerosis (MS), but the relative value of portable ultra-low field MRI (pULF-MRI), a technology that holds promise for extending access to MRI, is unknown. We assessed white matter lesion (WML) detection on pULF-MRI compared to high-field MRI (HF-MRI), focusing on blinded assessments, assessor self-training, and multiplanar acquisitions.
Methods: Fifty-five adults with MS underwent pULF-MRI following their HF-MRI.

Objectives: The number of post-marketing studies assessing the vaccine effectiveness (VE) of the Lanzhou lamb rotavirus vaccine (LLR, licensed in 2000 exclusively in China) and the oral human attenuated pentavalent rotavirus vaccine (RotaTeq, licensed in China in 2018) in China is limited.
Methods: A test-negative case-control study based on prospective surveillance was conducted among diarrhea patients aged 5 years and younger at five hospitals in Shanghai, China. Cases and controls were defined based on the results of real-time fluorescent quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) of fecal samples for rotavirus.
