Although the role of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) and human adipose-derived stem cells (hADSC) in accelerating diabetic wound healing has been proven, their synergistic effect is still debated. This study aimed to evaluate the individual and combined effects of LLLT and hADSC on wound healing and on biomechanical parameters in type 2 diabetic rabbits. In this experimental study, 40 rabbits with type 2 diabetes (induced by streptozotocin (STZ)) were included.

Heart failure (HF) is a major contributor to hospitalisations and accounts for 7% of cardiovascular-related deaths, with patients who have chronic kidney disease and type 2 diabetes at heightened risk. Existing treatment guidelines inadequately address these comorbidities. Steroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (MRAs) are commonly used in HF with reduced ejection fraction but pose risks, such as hyperkalaemia and acute kidney injury.

Object: To explore the mechanism of diabetic cardiomyopathy that hyperglycemia may affect the cardiac function by inhibiting the expression of ATPase β subunit.
Method: Cardiac function, fibrosis levels, and the expression of the ATPase β subunit were observed in Akita mice-a diabetes mice model without lipid metabolism disorders--using morphological, molecular biology, and echocardiographic analyses compared to wild-type mice. The study revealed a connection between the decreased ATPase β subunit and the development of diabetic myocardial injury.

Neuroregulation during skin wound healing involves complex interactions between the nervous system and intricate tissue repair processes. The skin, the largest organ, depends on a complex system of nerves to manage responses to injury. Recent research has emphasized the crucial role of neuroregulation in maximizing wound healing outcomes.
