Background: Nursing students' clinical learning is premised on experiences in clinical placements in nurse education, with the processes and outcomes of tripartite meetings among the student, nurse preceptor and teacher being central components. The tripartite meetings form the basis and framework for stakeholders' dialogue and collaboration and have the central purpose of facilitating student learning and development and assessing the students' achievement against predetermined learning outcomes for the placement period. Students' experiences with tripartite meetings seems to be an underexplored field, and therefor this study aimed to explore first-year nursing students' learning experiences within tripartite clinical placement meetings in nursing homes.

Background: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) can significantly disrupt autonomic nervous system (ANS) regulation, increasing the risk for secondary complications, hemodynamic instability, and adverse outcome. This retrospective study evaluated windowed time-lagged cross-correlation (WTLCC) matrices for describing cerebral hemodynamics-ANS interactions to predict outcome, enabling identifying high-risk patients who may benefit from enhanced monitoring to prevent complications.
Methods: The first experiment aimed to predict short-term outcome using WTLCC-based convolution neural network models on the Wroclaw University Hospital (WUH) database (P = 31 with 1,079 matrices, P = 16 with 573 matrices).
TRIM65 regulates innate immune signaling by enhancing K6-linked ubiquitination of IRF3 and its chromatin recruitment.

Viral infection triggers a rapid and effective cellular response primarily mediated by interferon β (IFNβ), which induces an antiviral state through complex signaling cascades. To maintain a robust antiviral response while preventing excessive activation, the induction of IFNβ and downstream signaling are tightly regulated. Members of the tripartite-motif (TRIM) family of E3 ubiquitin (Ub) ligases play crucial roles in modulating these processes.

Background: Glaucoma, a progressive neurodegenerative disorder leading to irreversible blindness, is associated with heightened rates of generalized anxiety and depression. This study aims to comprehensively investigate brain morphological changes in glaucoma patients, extending beyond visual processing areas, and explores overlaps with morphological alterations observed in anxiety and depression.
Methods: A comparative meta-analysis was conducted, using case-control studies of brain structural integrity in glaucoma patients.

Background: Alcohol industry organisations occupy a prominent position in UK alcohol policy, but their involvement has been contested by public health bodies on the basis that a conflict of interest (COI) exists between their economic objectives and those of public health. There are ongoing debates in the research literature about how to conceptualise COI and mitigate this in health research and practise. However, less attention has been paid to these issues in relation to the alcohol industry specifically.
