Unlabelled: Marine protists form complex communities that are shaped by environmental and biological ecosystem properties, as well as ecological interactions between organisms. While all of these factors play a role in shaping protistan communities, the specific ways in which these properties and interactions influence protistan communities remain poorly understood. Fourteen years and 9 months of eukaryotic amplicon (18S-V4 rRNA gene) data collected monthly at the San Pedro Ocean Time-series (SPOT) station were used to evaluate the impacts that environmental and biological factors, and protist-protist interactions had on protistan community composition.

Background: I-MIBG scintigraphy plays a significant role in diagnosing Parkinson's disease (PD), with most studies primarily targeting cardiac uptake and relying on traditional ratio-based parameters for assessment. However, due to variations in scanning conditions and image processing methodologies, the clinical utility of different parameters remains a subject of debate. This study aims to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of multi-parameter I-3-Iodobenzylguanidine (MIBG) scintigraphy and to identify the most reliable metrics for distinguishing PD from Parkinson-plus syndromes.

The study uses social exchange theory to examine how social relationships affect individual involvement in creativity at work and innovative behavior, mediated by psychological safety. The study disentangles the social relationships at work as informal and formal relationships in terms of two plausible theoretical variables, workplace friendliness and perceived affective climate respectively, for the above purpose. Over a period of three-months, data collection was conducted in the IT and ITeS industry, with a sample of 515 participants and 105 team leads, using a two-pronged approach involving data from both team leads and their subordinates.

Background: Psychiatric disorders are a substantial public health concern, and childhood adversity a well-known risk factor for it. Investigating gender differences in vulnerability and resilience processes following out-of-home care (OHC) as proxy for childhood adversity can help map opportunities for the prevention of psychiatric disorders.
Methods: We followed a large birth cohort for psychiatric disorders (anxiety, depression, and self-harm, and substance misuse) between age 25-62 years, comparing individuals with and without OHC experience.
