Objective: Brucellosis-induced aortic aneurysm (BIA), as a rare yet highly life-threatening type of infectious aortic aneurysm, currently lacks standardized treatment protocols. The primary objective of this study is to thoroughly evaluate the safety and efficacy of endovascular therapy using a combination of covered stents and drug irrigation techniques for the treatment of BIA. This endeavor aims to provide a scientific basis for the clinical management of this disease.

Family with fever, asthenia, arthralgia and headache after travelling back from Kosovo. A precise exposure history led to the suspicion of an underlying zoonosis and allowed a diagnosis to be made. The treatment with doxycycline and gentamicin led to a restitutio ad integrum in all family members.

Brucellosis poses a major health and economic challenge in endemic areas, especially in Iran. This study aimed to determine the strains and epidemiological features of Brucella isolated from raw milk at traditional milk sales centers in western Iran. A total of 208 raw milk samples were collected from 104 dairy sales centers in Hamadan province during two sampling periods in 2023.
