Objective: When implementing picture archival communication systems (PACS) and voice recognition (VR) technology in radiology, management attention generally has focused on justifying the system financially, investigating potential vendors, developing timelines for hardware delivery, installing the software, developing interfaces, and tracking and measuring results. These are critical components in implementing PACS and VR technology, but not sufficient for success.
Conclusion: This article argues that the ability to view organizational issues related to changing how people do their work from multiple organizational perspectives is equally important in determining the success of PACS and VR projects.

The complexity and inter-connectedness of operating in a global world for drug product supply has become an undeniable reality, further underscored by the COVID-19 pandemic. For Post-Approval Changes (PACs) that are an inevitable part of a product's commercial life, the impact of the growing global regulatory complexity and related drug shortages has brought the Global PAC Management System to an inflection point in particular for companies that have their products marketed in many countries.This paper illustrates through data analyzed for the first time from 145,000 + PACs for 156 countries, collected by 18 global pharma companies over a 3-year period (2019-2021), how severe the problem of global regulatory complexity is.

Efforts to conceptualize and define what patient engagement means-and what patient engagement means-are, however, lacking and a barrier to meaningful and sustainable patient engagement via patient advisory councils (PACs) across LHNs.
Methods: Several co-authors (Madeleine Huwe, Becky Woolf, Jennie David) are former ImproveCareNow (ICN) PAC members, and we integrate a narrative review of the extant literature and a case study of our lived experiences as former ICN PAC members.

Rationale And Objectives: Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, numerous strategies have been proposed to allow for continued resident education while following social distancing guidelines. Diagnostic radiology is largely electronic work, allowing for relatively easy transition to telehealth. Our institution deployed home workstations to interested upper level radiology residents and fellows in order to maintain high volume workload and education, while complying with CDC social distancing and quarantine guidelines.

As digital imaging is now a common and essential tool in the clinical workflow, it is important to understand the experiences of clinicians with medical imaging systems in order to guide future development. The objective of this paper was to explore health professionals' experiences, practices and preferences when using Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS), to identify shortcomings in the existing technology and inform future developments. Semi-structured interviews are reported with 35 hospital-based healthcare professionals (3 interns, 11 senior health officers, 6 specialist registrars, 6 consultants, 2 clinical specialists, 5 radiographers, 1 sonographer, 1 radiation safety officer).
