Objective: This retrospective cohort study aims to evaluate and compare different postoperative pain management strategies for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), in order to provide scientific evidence for clinical practice and decision-making.
Methods: A total of 274 ESCC patients who underwent surgery at the Affiliated Huai'an No. 1 People's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University were included in the study.

Background: Generalized lymphatic anomaly (GLA) is a rare congenital lymphatic malformation (LM) characterized by multiple infiltrating lymphangiomas in various tissues. Owing to its rarity, information on this disease is obtained mainly through case reports, leading to delayed diagnosis. In this study, we reported a case of generalized lymphatic anomaly in a pediatric patient manifesting as hemorrhagic pleural effusion.

Background: Hainan is a tropical island in China with a large migratory population. Study have reported that the blood pressure of Hainan elderly hypertensive migratory population decreased significantly, which may be related to the improvement of environment and quality of life (QoL). Understanding the changes of QoL of these people before and after coming to Hainan and its influencing factors can provide a basis for the prevention and control of hypertension.

Objectives: To investigate the association between primary dysmenorrhoea and quality of life, mental health and academic performance among medical students in Indonesia.
Design: A cross-sectional study using an online survey was conducted among Indonesian medical students. Primary dysmenorrhoea occurrence and severity, as well as their associations with quality of life, mental health and academic performance, were assessed using validated questionnaires.
