Background: Writing is a cortical function studied by the human science of Graphology, which allows the personal knowledge of the subject, and psychophysical conditions, both in healthy older people and in those affected by dementia. Graphologists and geriatricians can successfully cooperate with this.
Method: Five volunteers aged between 60 and 80 years old (3 women and 2 men) were enrolled after signing an informed consent.

While gesture typing is widely adopted on touchscreen keyboards, its support for low vision users is limited. We have designed and implemented two keyboard prototypes, layout-magnified and key-magnified keyboards, to enable gesture typing for people with low vision. Both keyboards facilitate uninterrupted access to all keys while the screen magnifier is active, allowing people with low vision to input text with one continuous stroke.

Introduction Diabetes is a rapidly growing global health concern, with the World Health Organization (WHO) estimating that 300 million adults will have diabetes by 2025. This chronic condition is associated with complications, including nephropathy, retinopathy, neuropathy, cardiovascular disease, and diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs), which can lead to amputation. Diabetic septic foot (DSF), a severe form of diabetic foot disease, is defined by the WHO as the presence of infection, ulceration, or tissue destruction in the lower limb, often accompanied by neurological abnormalities, peripheral vascular disease, and metabolic complications of diabetes.

Due to much of medical training being inpatient centered, medical trainees generally do more pre-rounding on a per-patient basis than they do complete histories and physical exams (H&Ps). However, formal training often overlooks pre-rounding as a critical aspect of medical education and patient care, with at least 10 times more publications on H&Ps than on any other aspect of rounding over the past half-century. To address this critical gap in medical education, we introduce the "Lesss PAINFUL" pre-rounding mnemonic, emphasizing the importance of efficient pre-rounding for medical students or other trainees.
