Background: Heart failure (HF) is a chronic, progressive condition where the heart cannot pump enough blood to meet the body's needs. In addition to the daily challenges that HF poses, acute exacerbations can lead to costly hospitalizations and increased mortality. High health care costs and the burden of HF have led to the emerging application of new technologies to support people living with HF to stay well while living in the community.

This paper discusses the outcome of the comparison of spectrum-weighted neutron dosimetry covering thermal-to-fast energy using the novel H*-TMFD spectroscopy-enabled sensor system in comparison with measurements using state-of-the-art neutron dosimetry systems at SRNS-Rotating Spectrometer (ROSPEC), and non-spectroscopic Eberline ASP2E ("Eberline") and Ludlum 42-49B ("Ludlum") survey instrumentation.

Purpose: This study aims to explore the feasibility and performance of three-dimensional ultrasound (3DUS) imaging in ophthalmology using commercially available ultrasound probes adapted to a slit lamp.
Significance: Despite ultrasound's long-standing application in eye care for visualizing ocular components, the evolution of 3DUS technology has remained inactive, with limited development and commercial availability. This study introduces a novel method that could potentially enhance ophthalmic diagnostics and treatment planning by providing comprehensive 3D views of ocular structures using existing ultrasound probes adapted to the conventional slit lamp.
Objective: Aim: Study the mechanism of interaction between the 'sacroiliac joint - screw' system and determine the optimal parameters of the stabilizing structure, the strength of the system connection through computer modeling, and anatomical-biomechanical experiment.
Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: The optimal parameters of the stabilizing structure for the sacroiliac joint were calculated using software package MathCAD. To validate the results of the numerical modeling, corresponding investigations of mechanical characteristics and determination of stiffness of the studied systems were conducted by an upgraded testing stand, TIRAtest-2151.

Optimal router node placement (RNP) is an effective method for improving the performance of wireless mesh networks (WMN). However, solving the RNP problem in WMN is difficult because it is NP-hard. As a result, this problem can only be solved using approximate optimization algorithms such as heuristics and meta-heuristics.
