Background: Early melanomas, dysplastic melanocytic nevi, and melanocytic tumours of uncertain malignant potential (MELTUMPs) reveal similar clinic and dermoscopic findings leading to underdiagnosis of malign lesions or unnecessary excision of benign ones. High-grade dysplastic nevi and MELTUMPs in the intermediate category should be recognized and completely excised.
Objectives: We evaluated the diagnostic performance of pattern analysis, ABCD rule, colour, architecture, symmetry, and homogeneity algorithm, melanoma-specific structures and asymmetry of dermoscopic features in distinguishing early melanomas, high-grade dysplastic nevi, and MELTUMPs from low-grade dysplastic nevi.

Introduction: The onset of locomotion is a critical motor milestone in early childhood and increases engagement with the environment. Toddlers with neurodevelopmental disabilities often have atypical motor development that impacts later outcomes. Video-based gait analysis using pose estimation offers an alternative to standardized motor assessments which are subjective and difficult to ascertain in some populations, yet very little work has been done to determine its accuracy in young children.

Background And Importance: Placental site trophoblastic tumor (PSTT) a rare form of gestational trophoblastic disease, originates from intermediate trophoblastic cells and presents with nonspecific symptoms, complicating diagnosis. PSTT primarily affects women of childbearing age, but occurrences in perimenopausal women are exceptionally rare.
Case Presentation: We report a case of a 54-year-old perimenopausal woman presenting with a two-month history of abnormal uterine bleeding.

Rationale: Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) is a common adolescent hip disorder, but its association with hypothyroidism remains rare and poorly understood. This case highlights the importance of considering endocrine disorders, such as hypothyroidism, as potential risk factors in atypical SCFE presentations, particularly when trauma or other common etiologies are absent.
Patient Concerns: A 14-year-old boy presented with progressive, nontraumatic left hip pain that worsened over 6 weeks, eventually leading to complete immobility.

Transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β) exhibits complex and context-dependent cellular responses. While it mostly induces tumor-suppressive effects in early stages of tumorigenesis, tumor-promoting properties are evident in advanced disease. This TGF-β duality is still not fully understood, and whether TGF-β supports invasion and metastasis by influencing cancer cells directly, or rather through the stromal tumor compartment, remains a matter of debate.
