When people remember together, they recall less than if they remembered separately. This is called collaborative inhibition. We examine whether this is due to the product of group recall or the process of recalling in groups. In other words, is it what the other people recall or the structure of the group dialogue that impairs group performance? Participants worked either independently or in pairs. For half of the pairs, the participants saw the items that the other person recalled. As was expected, this led to levels of recall that were lower than those for the control participants. For the other half of the pairs, the participants did not see the words recalled by the other person but still followed a turn-taking protocol. Recall was at the level of that in the nominal control condition. Collaborative inhibition is due to interference caused by the product of recall, not the process.

The therapeutic effect of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is unsatisfactory. The immune "cold" microenvironment caused by tumor-associated fibroblasts (TAFs) has an adverse effect on the antitumor response. Therefore, in this study, mixed cell membrane-coated porous magnetic nanoparticles (PMNPs) were constructed to deliver salvianolic acid B (SAB) to induce an antitumor immune response, facilitating the transition from a "cold" to a "hot" tumor and ultimately enhancing the therapeutic efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors.

In this study, we reported the discovery of a novel type II c-Met/Axl inhibitor, characterized by using 4-amino-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine as a hinge region binder. Through a systematic exploration of the structure-activity relationship, based on the clinically reported c-Met inhibitor BMS-777607, we identified the optimized compound 22a. 22a exhibited remarkable potency against c-Met and Axl kinases, with IC values of 1 nM and 10 nM, respectively, and demonstrated over 100-fold selectivity to other members of the TAM subfamily.

This work aimed to elucidate the deterioration mechanisms of shrimp surimi gels during refrigerated storage, and the regulatory mechanisms of epigallocatechin-3-gallate loaded cyclodextrin-based metal-organic framework (EGCG@CD-MOF) as a model antioxidant. Labele-free proteomics provided a quantitative analysis of the differential proteomic signatures of degraded proteins. Structural proteins, like myosin, paramyosin, titin, laminin, and α-actinin, along with calcium regulatory proteins, like calcineurin and sarcoplasmic calcium-binding protein were found to be highly susceptible to oxidative degradation during refrigeration.
