Aim: Understanding of kidney function decline (KFD) after pelvic exenteration (PE) for colorectal cancer remains limited, and the effects of a long ileal conduit (IC) on kidney disorders are unclear. The aim of this study was to investigate long-term kidney function following PE in colorectal cancer and to evaluate the effects of IC length on KFD.
Method: This was a retrospective, single-centre cohort study.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to develop and validate a nomogram model that predicts the risk of bone metastasis (BM) in a prostate cancer (PCa) population.
Methods: We retrospectively collected and analyzed the clinical data of patients with pathologic diagnosis of PCa from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2022 in two hospitals in Yangzhou, China. Patients from the Affiliated Hospital of Yangzhou University were divided into a training set and patients from the Affiliated Clinical College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Yangzhou University were divided into a validation set.

Background: Preoperative neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT) is considered to be the standard treatment strategy for locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC); however, the risk of adverse events and postoperative recurrence remains significant. This study aimed to evaluate the non-inferiority of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (nCT) compared with nCRT in patients with LARC and to assess the possibility of eliminating radiotherapy on the basis of guaranteed efficacy.
Materials And Methods: We searched the PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases to identify randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing the efficacy of nCRT and nCT for LARC.
Objectives: To understand whether bladder outflow obstruction influences the association between traditional clinical predictive factors, particularly prostate-specific antigen (PSA) density and clinically significant prostate cancer (csPCa). This will help facilitate effective and evidence-based triaging of patients in rapid-access clinics.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively analysed prospectively collected data from 307 suspected prostate cancer patients who underwent diagnostic biopsy from 2019 to 2023 at a single, high-volume, specialist cancer centre.
