Objective: To develop a questionnaire to evaluate the cooperation of adolescent orthodontic patients.
Methods: 182 orthodontic patients (9 - 15 years old, 78 boys and 104 girls) with fixed appliance were selected in Dalian. A questionnaire was developed according to the past research and 4 hypotheses.
Results: The scale is made up of 25 items and 4 factors. The reliability of this scale was confirmed (the reliability coefficient > 0.9 and Cronbach alpha coefficient > 0.7).
Conclusion: The questionnaire may be used to evaluate the cooperation of orthodontic patients.
