Coats-like response refers to a condition where abnormal telangiectatic retinal vessels and aneurysms associated with subretinal exudation are seen in the setting of other ocular or systemic diseases. So far, it has been described with various ocular disorders like retinitis pigmentosa, chronic ischemic branch retinal vein obstruction and pars planitis. Introduction: We present a unique case of acute aortic occlusion secondary to infective endocarditis (IE).
Presentation Of Case: An Aboriginal Australian woman with systemic lupus erythematosus presented with fever, confusion, tachycardia, and tachypnoea and had cold, pulseless, insensate, and paralysed lower limbs. Computed tomography angiography revealed multifocal occlusion of the distal aorta and lower limb vessels.

Background: Coronary sinus (CS) lead placement in persistent left superior vena cava (PLSVC) cases is challenging because of the poor backup force of the guiding catheter within the enlarged CS. Active fixation Quadripolar leads (Attain Stability™ Quad 4798, Medtronic) can expand choice to CS branches with limited access; however, no cases of anchoring to the main body of the CS have been published to date.
Case Summary: We describe a case of cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemaker upgrade in a 79-year-old female who developed pacing-induced cardiomyopathy after pacemaker implantation via the right superior vena cava (SVC) for atrioventricular block eight years ago wherein PLSVC was revealed during the procedure.

This case highlights a 52-year-old male patient with a history of venous thromboembolism (VTE) who presented with progressive shortness of breath over a month, culminating in dyspnea at rest, and anterior ST-segment elevation on electrocardiography (ECG). The initial evaluation suggested STEMI.

Microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) is a rare, autoimmune, small-vessel vasculitis usually described with the presence of perinuclear antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (p-ANCA). It encompasses a broad spectrum of clinical features, including fatigue, weight loss, fever, arthralgia, skin lesions, and involvement of the lungs or kidneys. Ocular manifestations, however, are extremely rare.
