Objective: To identify clusters of women with similar trajectories of breast density change over four longitudinal assessments and to examine the association between these trajectories and the subsequent risk of breast cancer.
Design: Retrospective cohort study.
Setting: Data from the national breast cancer screening programme, which is embedded in the National Health Insurance Service database in Korea.

: B3 breast lesions, characterized by uncertain malignant potential, pose a significant challenge for clinicians. With the increasing use of preoperative biopsies, there is a need for careful management strategies, including watchful waiting, vacuum-assisted excision (VAE), and surgery. This study aims to assess the concordance between preoperative biopsy findings and postoperative histology, with a focus on evaluating the positive predictive value (PPV) for malignancy in B3 lesions.

: Paclitaxel (PTX), a commonly used chemotherapy for breast cancer (BC), is associated with dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs) such as peripheral neuropathy and neutropenia. These toxicities frequently lead to dose reductions, treatment delays, or therapy discontinuation, negatively affecting patients' quality of life and clinical outcomes. Current dosing strategies based on body surface area (BSA) fail to account for individual variations in body composition (skeletal muscle mass (SMM) and adipose tissue (AT) mass) and physical activity (PA), which can influence drug metabolism and toxicity.

: Cancer cells rely on metabolic reprogramming that is supported by altered mitochondrial redox status and an increased demand for NAD. Over expression of Nampt, the rate-limiting enzyme of the NAD biosynthesis salvage pathway, is common in breast cancer cells, and more so in triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells. Targeting the salvage pathway has been pursued for cancer therapy.
