Pigment particles used in tattooing may exert long terms effect by releasing diffusible degradation products. In the present work, aqueous suspensions of the organic orange diazo pigment PO13 were aged by exposure to simulated sunlight at 40 °C. The morphology and the surface charge of PO13 particles were barely modified upon aging, but primary particles were released by de-agglomeration.

Neurotoxicity of organophosphate esters (OPEs) and organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs) has been documented in toxicological studies, though epidemiological evidence remains inconsistent. The developing fetal brain is susceptible to environmental exposures. Thus, we aim to investigate how prenatal exposure to OPEs and OPPs as mixture affects offspring neurodevelopment in preschool-aged children.

Saline-alkaline aquaculture plays a crucial role in the ecological restoration of saline soils, yet high water salinity can significantly restrict the growth of cultured organisms. The Chinese mitten crab (Eriocheir sinensis) is typically farmed in freshwater, to evaluate the effects of salinity stress on these crabs, this study conducted laboratory aquaculture experiments at salinities of ≤ 0.5 (freshwater), 6, 12, and 18 ‰.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) are monoclonal antibodies that block inhibitors of T cell activation and function. With the widespread use of ICIs in cancer therapy, immune-related adverse events (irAEs) have gradually emerged as urgent clinical issues. Tumors not only exhibit high heterogeneity, and their response to ICIs varies, with "hot" tumors showing better anti-tumor effects but also a higher susceptibility to irAEs.
