Self-transmissible IncC plasmids rapidly spread multidrug resistance in many medically important pathogens worldwide. A large plasmid of this type (pIP1202, ~80 Kb) has been isolated in a clinical isolate of , the agent of plague. Here, we report that pIP1202 was highly stable in infected mice and fleas and did not reduce virulence in these animals.

Tuberculosis (TB), white plague, many other definitions is an ancient deadly infection that humans dealt with after creation. The first hypothesis refers to 150 million years ago about the appearance of TB in the Jurassic era before human creation, but documents show 9000 years ago for first appearance in human society. The fall armyworm is the most prevalent plague in crops associated with a reduction in corn production by up to 34%. Pesticides have been used to reduce this plague, but they cause several environmental problems including resistance, ecological imbalance, and toxicity to the final consumer. The use of plant extracts has been an effective manner of eradicating this plague from crop plantations.

Unlabelled: Brucellosis, a zoonotic disease, has re-emerged in both humans and animals, causing significant economic losses globally. Recently, an increasing number of rifampicin-resistant strains have been isolated worldwide without detectable mutations in known antibiotic resistance genes. Here, this study identified the deletion of serine/threonine protein kinase (STPK) gene in as an efficient trigger for rifampicin resistance using bioinformatics predictions, a transposon mutant library, and gene mutation strains.
