Background: Diabetes is known to cause cognitive impairments and synaptic dysfunction. This study investigates the effects of (EO), (CT), Vitamin C, and metformin on cognitive function and synaptic density (SYN) in diabetic rats. This work aims to evaluate the impact of various treatments on spatial learning, memory, and SYN in a diabetic rat model.

Dual-double stem cell therapy, which integrates mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), represents a cutting-edge approach in regenerative medicine, particularly for conditions such as ovarian decline, premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), and induced ovarian failure. This therapy leverages the unique properties of MSCs and HSCs, enhancing tissue repair, immune modulation, and overall regenerative outcomes. MSCs, known for their ability to differentiate into various cell types, provide a supportive microenvironment and secrete bioactive molecules that promote angiogenesis and reduce inflammation.

Chicken meat (broiler) production is a rapidly growing livestock sector in India, and one dominated by contract farming. Studies have reported high levels of antibiotic use in Indian broiler farms which is concerning given this is one of the driving forces for the development of antibiotic resistance. This study used the economic lens of agency theory to examine strategic decisions which occur during contract broiler production and their potential impact on antibiotic use, using West Bengal as a case study.

Background Computed tomography (CT) scans play a crucial role in emergency surgical care, serving both diagnostic and prognostic functions. They significantly contribute to timely and effective patient care. This study aims to compare abdominal CT scan reports prepared by locally employed radiologists with those from outsourced radiology reporting services for patients presenting with acute surgical conditions.

Insufficient physical activity is associated with increased relative risk of cardiometabolic disease and is an independent risk factor for mortality. Experimentally reducing physical activity rapidly induces insulin resistance, impairs glucose handling, and drives metabolic inflexibility. These adaptations manifest during the early stages of physical inactivity, even when energy balance is maintained, suggesting that inactivity-mediated metabolic reprogramming is an early event that precedes changes in body composition.
