Background And Purpose: To develop a new test to assess the motor coordination of the upper limbs, and to investigate the test-retest and inter-rater reliability, construct validity, standard error of measurement (SEM), minimum detectable change (MDC), and the reference values.
Methods: The Upper Extremity Motor Coordination Test (UEMOCOT)was applied for 20 s, with the individual touching two targets (one right and one left) as quickly as possible, first with the hand (manual task) and then with the index finger (finger task). To test-retest reliability, the UEMOCOT was administered two times.

The Nurse Practitioner Holistic Caring Instrument (NPHCI) is a 19-item, investigator-developed instrument designed to measure holistic caring in nurse practitioner (NP) practice. This paper evaluates multi-sample psychometric testing of the instrument, describing data from three samples, with analysis supporting the NPHCI as a valid and reliable instrument. Methods: The NPHCI has been administered in patient, NP program faculty, and NP convenience samples.

Patients with cancer expect prolonged life (overall survival, OS) or better life (quality of life, QOL) from cancer treatments. However, majority of new cancer drugs are now being approved not based on improved OS or QOL, but based on surrogate endpoints such as tumor shrinkage or delayed tumor progression. These surrogate endpoints, including their validity as a proxy for overall survival, differ based on disease settings and lines of treatment but in general, most surrogate measures have weak correlation with outcomes that matter to patients.

Globally, obesity prevalence has progressively increased and is now at epidemic levels; this trend is mirrored in women of childbearing age. There is a high level of evidence that maternal obesity is associated with a range of adverse pregnancy complications and neonatal outcomes, such as hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), large for gestational age (LGA) fetuses, premature birth, stillbirth, cesarean section, and postpartum hemorrhage, among certain others. This systematic review aimed to comprehensively evaluate the relationship between maternal obesity and health outcomes for both mothers and infants.
