Climate change, described by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2021 as 'the single biggest health threat facing humanity', causes extreme weather, disrupts food supplies, and increases the prevalence of diseases, thereby affecting human health, medical practice, and healthcare stability. Greener Gastroenterology is an important movement that has the potential to make a real difference in reducing the impact of the delivery of healthcare, on the environment. The WHO defines an environmentally sustainable health system as one which would improve, maintain or restore health while minimizing negative environmental impacts.

In 2012, representatives of the 44 International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists (IFNA) member countries were surveyed about their scope of practice. Ten years later, the researchers repeated the study to evaluate the professional development of nonphysician anesthesia providers. The survey was prepared by the IFNA Practice Committee and explored demographics, training, anesthesia team members, and daily activities of the nonphysician anesthesia providers (NPAPs).

Aims: This study aims to comprehensively examine the employment and practices of embryologists in Japan's assisted reproductive technology (ART) laboratories, focusing on the impact of various factors such as ART cycle numbers, add-ons, and regional differences. Additionally, it seeks to assess the extent to which Japanese ART facilities meet international minimum standards set by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
Methods: A survey was conducted from December 2021 to February 2022 among 621 ART facilities in Japan.

Purpose: Family physician (FP)-performed screening colonoscopies can serve as 1 strategy in the multifaceted strategy necessary to improve national colorectal cancer screening rates, particularly in rural areas where specialist models can fail. However, little research exists on the performance of this strategy in the real world. In this study, we evaluated trends in and factors associated with FP-performed screening colonoscopies in the United States between 2016 and 2021.
