One of the most remarkable achievements of the TKI era has been the capacity to induce deep molecular remissions that are sustainable off therapy in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) patients - treatment-free remission (TFR). TFR was first described in a handful of patients within 3-4 years of imatinib approval. In 2004 TFR was tested in a small French pilot study, followed soon after by the French STIM and Australasian TWISTER studies.

Episodic memory (EM) alterations are a hallmark of Alzheimer's disease (AD). We assessed EM longitudinally in cognitively normal elders at-risk for AD (with subjective memory complaints), as a function of amyloid-β (Aβ) burden, neurodegeneration (N), and progression to prodromal AD. We stratified 264 INSIGHT-preAD study subjects in controls (Aβ-/N-), stable/N- or N + (Aβ +), and progressors/N- or N + (Aβ +) groups (progressors were included only until AD-diagnosis).

Background: BRAF V600E mutations occur in 2-5 % of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. The dabrafenib-trametinib (D-T) combination was associated with improved and durable OS in patients in phase II. This study (IFCT-2004 BLaDE study) reported the efficacy of D-T combination in a large retrospective French real-world multicenter cohort of patients with advanced BRAF V600E-mutated NSCLC.
