Objective: To evaluate the diagnosis and management of adrenal myelolipoma.
Methods: The clinical data of 26 cases were analyzed retrospectively and the selected articles were reviewed. There were no specific clinical symptom and endocrine abnormality, except increasing catecholamine in 2 cases. All cases but two were diagnosed by B-model ultrasound scanning (B-US), CT or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Results: Twenty-six cases were surgically treated, the diameter of the tumor was 5 - 10 cm, simple tumor resection was performed in 16 cases, and complete adrenal resection was performed in 10 cases. All the operated cases were proved by pathologists. The duration of follow-up was from 6 - 28 months after surgery. No recurrence was observed.
Conclusions: The diagnosis of adrenal myelolipoma could be established based on B-US, CT or MRI. The tumors whose diameter is larger than 5 cm in size should be removed.

Importance: Cyclophosphamide and calcineurin inhibitors are the most used nonsteroid immunosuppressive medications globally for children with various chronic inflammatory conditions. Their comparative effectiveness remains uncertain, leading to worldwide practice variation. Nephrotic syndrome is the most common kidney disease managed by pediatricians globally and suboptimal treatment is associated with high morbidity.

Introduction: Large administrative healthcare databases can be used for near real-time sequential safety surveillance of drugs as an alternative approach to traditional reporting-based pharmacovigilance. The study aims to build and empirically test a prospective drug safety monitoring setup and perform a sequential safety monitoring of rofecoxib use and risk of cardiovascular outcomes.
Methods: We used Danish population-based health registers and performed sequential analysis of rofecoxib use and cardiovascular outcomes using case-time-control and cohort study designs from January 2000 to September 2004.

Background: The Masquelet induced membrane technique is a surgical procedure that allows the reconstruction of segmental bone defects using a relatively simple approach that requires minimal resources from both the healthcare facility and the patient. Historically applied to the lower limb, this technique is gaining increasing attention in the literature for its use in the upper limb.
Methods: A systematic review of the literature was conducted using the PubMed and Google Scholar databases to identify all studies reporting the outcomes of the Masquelet induced membrane technique in the long bones of the upper limb (humerus, radius, and ulna) with a sample size of at least 3 patients.

The incidence of thyroid cancer has shown marked increases globally over recent decades. This study investigated how the incidence of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) subtypes and World Health Organisation (WHO) endocrine tumour classification changes have affected overall thyroid cancer incidence recorded in Australia. Using incidence data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare cancer registry (spanning 1982 to 2019), this descriptive epidemiological study employed joinpoint regression analysis to assess temporal trends in thyroid carcinoma incidence, focusing on PTC.
