Background: Telehealth involves providing health care remotely using communication tools such as telephone, video, and remote patient monitoring. Research on telehealth has shown many benefits, including improved access to care and reduced costs, and drawbacks, including delays in care, breakdowns in communication, and missed diagnoses. The use of telehealth nationally, including in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), expanded dramatically during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The rapid growth of populations and urbanization has led to a significant increase in healthcare waste, posing serious health risks. A search on Google Scholar identified seven relevant articles from Ethiopia that examine the relationship between improper waste management in healthcare facilities (HCFs) and the rise of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) genes. This review aims to highlight key concepts, evidence sources, and knowledge gaps specific to the Ethiopian context.

Background: Abortion stigma as reported globally has been inadequately documented empirically in Nigeria, Africa's most populous country with a restrictive abortion law and a high rate of unsafe abortions.
Objective: The objectives of this study were to investigate the ways in which abortion stigma is experienced by Nigerian health professionals and how such experiences influence health professionals' practice of safe abortion and post-abortion care.
Methods: The study utilized qualitative research consisting of in-depth interviews with 10 abortion providers.
