Impairments in mentalizing, the capacity to understand the self and others in terms of intentional mental states, are proposed to play an important role in the emergence of borderline personality disorder (BPD) in adolescence. Although mentalizing problems in adults with BPD have been amply demonstrated, research in adolescence lags behind in terms of both the normative development of mentalizing in adolescence and the relation between different dimensions of mentalizing and adolescent BPD. Discoidin domain receptors (DDR) are categorized under tyrosine kinase receptors (RTKs) and play a crucial role in various etiological conditions such as cancer, fibrosis, atherosclerosis, osteoarthritis, and inflammatory diseases. The structural domain rearrangement of DDR1 and DDR2 involved six domains of interest namely N-terminal DS, DS-like, intracellular juxtamembrane, transmembrane juxtamembrane, extracellular juxtamembrane intracellular kinase domain, and the tail portion contains small C-tail linkage. DDR has not been explored to a wide extent to be declared as a prime target for any particular pathological condition.

Digeneans of the family Notocotylidae differ from other digeneans in their peculiar eggs. The eggs feature a pair of long filaments extending from their poles, and their contents differ significantly from what we expect to observe in the eggs of digeneans. Instead of a ciliated miracidium larva, the notocotylid egg contains a tiny few-celled mother sporocyst.
